Practice nurses are qualified and registered nurses. They can help with health issues such as family planning, healthy living advice, blood pressure checks and dressings. The practice nurses run clinics for long-term health conditions such as asthma or diabetes, minor ailment clinics and carry out cervical smears.
Claire is responsible for the smooth running of the practice. She can assist you with any non-medical problems and will be happy to hear your views and suggestions on the services provided.
Provide care and advice during pregnancy and postnatal care for mother and baby following discharge from hospital. The community midwife holds her clinic here every Tuesday afternoon.

Our District nursing team, under the direction of Ann Nicholl, provide nursing care in your home, assessment of your health needs and continuing nursing care following discharge from hospital.
