Noticeboard

TO HELP REDUCE THE POTENTIAL SPREAD OF INFECTION, WE ARE ADVISING ALL PATIENTS TO PHONE BEFORE COMING TO THE SURGERY. WHEN YOU RING YOU WILL BE ASKED SOME QUESTIONS TO DETERMINE YOUR CONDITION. THIS WILL ENABLE US TO TAKE THE APPROPRIATE COURSE OF ACTION AND PROTECT OUR STAFF AND VULNERABLE PATIENTS.

COVID-19 (coronavirus)

If you have a high temperature and/or new continuous cough, EVERYONE IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD MUST STAY AT HOME FOR 14 DAYS *

Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital.

You can ring NHS 111 for information or advice and they will help you decide if you need to contact your GP.

Calling your GP directly is only necessary if you have:

• an existing health condition

• problems with your immune system

• very serious symptoms

If it is a medical emergency and you need to call an ambulance, dial 999 and inform the operator of your symptoms.

Repeat PrescriptionsNice_vlue_pills

These can be requested by telephoning our automated number 70835419 (available 24 hours a day) or by placing a note of the items you require into the box at reception.

Alternatively you can order online via the link at the top of this page. First time users are required to complete a simple registration.

Prescriptions can also be collected by most local pharmacies if this is more convenient for you but you must arrange this yourself with the chemist concerned. Please do not ask for repeat prescriptions during surgery consultations.

It would help the receptionists if all items required within the next month could be ordered at one time.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

Symbol Error 3Please allow 48 hours for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
