Noticeboard

Wednesday 17th November: COVID-19 BOOSTER, IMPORTANT INFORMATION.  We have commenced clinics and are offering the Pfizer vaccine.  We are currently offering boosters to patients who received their 2nd dose between January and April this year. If we haven't contacted you, please contact us and arrange an appointment.  ALL our registered patients will be offered the booster dose here in the practice regardless of where the 1st and 2nd doses were given. (Boosters are given 6 months after the date of the 2nd dose). This will be a huge task for us due to the number of patients we need to contact so we would be grateful for your patience.

FLU VACCINE UPDATE:  The majority of eligible patients have already received their annual vaccination.  We are in the process of organising a "catch up" clinic for those patients who were unable to attend their original appointment. If you are under 65, please contact us to arrange an appointment.  Anyone over the age of 65 can contact a local pharmacy to receive a flu vaccination

GOOD NEWS: We are absolutely delighted to have received a letter from the Royal College of General Practitioners to say we had been nominated for the prestigious "GP Practice of the Year Award".  Unfortunately we were not successful on this occasion, however, we are all so pleased and honoured to have been nominated.  In these unprecedented times ,it is so encouraging to hear that the daily challenges we face and our continuing hard work and efforts in the midst of the pandemic are appreciated. This has been a great morale booster for our team!
